Daywise itinerary
Day 1 : Arrive at Bodhgaya International airport. Meet and greet at the airport and transfer to Hotel. Bodhgaya is one of the most important pilgrimage sites for Buddhists all over the world being the holy place where lord Buddha attained enlightenment. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.
Day 2 : Full day Bodhagaya sightseeing visiting Mahabodhi temple, Buddha statue and other International monasteries.
Day 3 : Bodhgaya to Rajgir visiting World Peace Stupa, Venuvanaram, Vulture’s peak and proceed to Nalanda to see the ruins of the ancient university and then to Patna for overnight.
Day 4 : Patna to Kushinagar via Vaishali visiting the Pillars of Ashoka and Keshariya.
Day 5 : Visit Kushinagar, the place where Lord attained Parinirvana and then proceed to the Lumbini in Nepal, the birth place of Lord Buddha.
Day 6: Morning visit Lumbini and thereafter proceed to Shravasti in India. Overnight in Shravasti.
Day 7 : Visit Shravasti and then drive to Varanasi.
Day 8 : Morning visit Varanasi. Afternoon visit Sarnath. Overnight at Varanasi.
Day 9 : Transfer to airport for your flight to Guwahati. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10 : Morning sightseeing of Guwahati. Evening sunset cruise on river Brahmaputra.
Day 11 : Morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Dibrugarh. On arrival, proceed to Namsai in Arunachal Pradesh.
Day 12 : This morning visit the Golden Pagoda of Namsai. The Pagoda is perched beautifully on top of a hill on the banks of a river overlooking the Eastern Himalayan mountains. The temple has a beautiful jade Buddha. After that visit a local village of the Khampti tribe. The Khamptis are Buddhists. Afternoon drive back to Dibrugarh.
Day 13 : Today excursion to the Tai Phake village. Tai Phake is a Buddhist community of Tai speaking people who migrated to these parts hundreds of years back from Thailand. The uniqueness of this community is that they have retained their traditions and culture revolving around their ancient Buddhist religion. Overnight in Dibrugarh.
Day 14 : Depart Dibrugarh for Kolkata and onward connection.
